Apogee and X-HD Card Time Delay Issue

I'm planning to buy three Rosettas and a Big Ben to use on the front end of my Pro Tools HD rig. If one of the Rosettas is plugged into the Lagacy port using an X-HD card and the other two are going in AES, will there be any noticeable timing difference between the three?

I can see that there could theoretically be phase issues, but will it make a sonic difference? Or is there really no noticeable difference at all? Essentially do you guys think I need to cough up the extra $1k for two additional X-HD cards just so every channel is coming in the same way?

I've been using Apogee gear without latency problems, though always through X-HD cards. Not sure about the mixed configuration you describe. Call Apogee. They will give you a straight answer.
