SP202 input whine - recap?

Today I bought a Boss SP-202 sampler.

It's got a high-pitched whine on the input (both mic and line in) which gets recorded. It's a lofi sampler but the whine is loud enough that the machine is unusable.

I opened it up to check and there's a bunch of through-hole caps on the circuit board. I couldn't see any leakage, but I think it's been unused for a while. Would replacing the caps be likely to fix this problem?
