Synth teardowns and repair photos

Recently repaired a dead Oberheim Matrix 6R which was completely dead. I had to replace the voltage regulators as well as the battery. I'll have a blog post up on it in a bit, but here are the photos:

Also did a tear down (as much as I could) on my SlimPhatty as I was hoping to ID the pots they're using (wobbly, but very smooth like an encoder). Failed at that last part because the PCB sandwich was impossible to separate without destroying those plastic clips, but had fun anyway
