I have an Amek M2500 that my monitor selector switch doesn't disengage Tape 1. Is there someone I can send in the switch array? when I remove the master channel module and look at the action it looks like the switch doesn't move the mechanical reset linkage (that is hooked up across the switches).

I know my console is old. But it sounds nice. so I could live with the dead switch and re-patch, but I like it to be 100% again someday.

I'm not familiar with this particular one, but some ganged switches have little plastic bits that break off and render them inoperable. You might need to find a replacement set. I may be wrong, so perhaps post a photo or two?

Those selectors are not so easy to come by these days but it is posible.
The problem you have is 'mechanical' so careful examination of wht is, and is not happening when you operate the switches should reveal the fault. use of the 'wrong; sort of switchcleanewr can cause the problem of the plastic softening and re hardening incorrectly, jamming the mechanism.
Parts possibly from Digikey or Mouser etc. You would buy a new set of switches and the various interlock bars and make a new set up. Attempting to fit new switches on the existing bits would only work if you get the same brand exactly.
