Yes, but you have to add psu decoupling caps to the opamp power rails if you're putting in LT's.
If you don't those opamps will oscillate and burn themselves out.

LT 135x's have bipolar inputs, TL 07x's have FETs. Different properties.

Anybody care to comment when (in which circuit types) this matters?

Dual/quad fet opamp. Surface mount only. Better than BB opa134 series. Less offset. No guarantees on Avid, I don't work on them.

Don't waste money on audio el caps. The best caps have the least amount of loss. Those are the newer tantalum substitues like Rubycon Z, Nichicon HE and Panasonic FM. The rest is marketing BS.

Jim, I want to ask, in my Aphex 651 you modified you installed Nichicon ES capacitors. Why did you choose those over HE or FM capacitors, which are the only two series I've read you recommending.

Those are original Aphex parts. They are bypassed with wire on the rear of the pcb so the entire audio path is direct coupled.

Thanks Jim. The other two I have do not use those capacitors, but all 3 of the ones I have are different revisions.
