Retouching paintwork (synths)

Any one have any tips for repainting small scratches on synths , specifically i've a prophet 5 which has a few scratches. Car paints? any thing else?

Sharpie brand markers work well for small paint or anodized finish nicks. Apply, let dry, apply again - slight buff with a soft cloth. Use a fine point sharpie for scratches. Available in many colors. You can use "Old English" scratch remover polish on any wood parts.
