Thinking about the Korg Delta (DL-50)? Is it stable/worth it?

Any thoughts?

I'm looking for a polyphonic analogue synth with plenty of live controls for live ambient and noise sets. I know juno 6 is the go-to option in this price range (under 1000) but I want something thats a little less used.

Anyone had any experience with the Delta (DL-50)? Im sure there are other options too.

I've never played a Delta, but I don't believe it is fully polyphonic like the Juno 6. Instead, it is polyphonic in the same way a string or organ synth is - "divide-down", and it only has a single filter, rather than a filter per voice. Not there is anything wrong the synth, but it's a bit different from the Juno 6. Roland Alpha Juno or Jx3P / Jx8P are other options, but you'd need the optional 'programmer' box if you want to do much live tweaking (or setup a suitable MIDI controller replacement). You should be able to get a Korg PolySix for < $1000 as well.
