Jomox xbase999 vs xbase09

Hello, is there anyone who owns or has owned both the xbase09 that xbase999?
I know the differences between the 2 (the 999 has 9 voices polyphony instead of 3, the analog toms, the ability to upload your own samples, x-filter etc..) but I would like to know if there are significant differences in the sound of the kick. I read somewhere that the kick of the 999 would be more plasticky and less effective than the 09(in the mix). you have got this impression?

I would also like to know if the interface of the 999 is so penalizing for live performances compared with that of 09 having no dedicated controls for each instrument.

Thank you.

I have owned both, i don't agree that the 999 kick is more "plasticky" and less effective, to me it is punchier and the new features are great to sculpt the sound, so for me the results are better with the 999. By far.

But there's more parameters so that might be more difficult for some.
