Synths like poly 61

I'm really fond of the spacey/lo-fi sound of the korg poly 61. Does anyone know of other 6-8 voice synths that have a sound character similar to it?

It has that same honky sine charactor as the Poly800, which is much cheaper.

Poly 61 has filter per voice, and the Poly 800 has one filter for all voices. Otherwise very samey sounding.

Can't really think of any other synth that sounds similar tbh.

Judging from your demo, I think you're more interested in the Chord Memory feature than the sound of the synth - so I'd look for other synths with chord memory.

Yup, an Alpha Juno. Or just sample a chord.

DW8000 has a bit of the same sound, but is darker and much better sounding.

The 61 was my first ever Poly, I was about to buy an 800 until I found out it had only one filter, and MIDI was not that important as a gigging musician as few synths had it at the time. After two years I traded it for a dead Memorymoog, which is no longer dead and which I still have. I was traded a 61 a year ago with acid damage which I cured. I think Korg went too far in the transition from the PolySix to the 61 but the Oscillator section is still very analog (at least Osc 1) and it has a great Bass end, and the lack of parameters makes it easier to program. It won't do everything, it can't but what it does can sound very good.
