Favorite reverb plugins?

Pretty straightforward question...

What are you favorite reverb plugins?

Do you use particular reverbs for particular uses? (Altiverb for master fx, but valhalla for synths, for instance?)

And does anyone have either of the two new NI reverbs that were just released?

Thoughts?...i still need to try the demo...

I like Audiodamage Eos for 'effect' type reverb and 2CAudio Breeze for general use

Aether is still my go-to verb. Tends to be used on a send bus, or printed when using it for more FX type verbs.

Nothing beats Nebula for verbs though - work flow is brutal.

Altiverb or my uad lexicon but before I got those two plus I used the blue and black lexicon a lot I forget the exact name of that one though...

I know people are usually hot-to-trot on third party 'verbs, but honestly Logic's Space Designer is just as good as any of them if you know how to use it (IMHO of course). The interface can be a little intimidating and less, shall we say "intuitive" than others, but if you just scroll through some of the numerous presets you begin to understand what's going on...

Meldaproduction MReverb

Doesn't get enough love around here.

Check it out.

I wanted it and went for the Creative Bundle which is crazy.

For creating a very natural reverb I love Softube TSAR-1. For more effect type reverbs Valhalla Shimmer, Valhalla Room, and the new Valhalla Vintage Verb are great. The price/value ratio of Valhalla stuff is off the charts. Just buy them. I have some convolution reverbs but I don't like using them as much because they are more CPU intensive.

I recently got Lexicon's Black Hole and H3000 native plugins but haven't really played around with them very much since I have the real hardware also. The Black Hole plug definitely sounded like the same setting on the Space pedal but honestly, the Valhalla stuff is a much better value. I think I posted a demo in here where I did a reasonably close Black Hole simulation with the Valhalla stuff with Sean's help in the thread. The H3000 plug has bugs when working with Sonar so I haven't gone to that too much.

I use several (something of a reverb nut)

Top of the pile for me is Relab's 480l. To me this is simply stunning.

I also still regularly use the VSS3 on Powercore. in my opinion, this is still one of the best s/ware reverbs out there.

For more FX type reverbs I do like the UAD 224. Never used the real-deal but this thing really seems to have captured the essence.

For ages I simply stuck with the Lexicon Pantheon reverb included with Sonar. When looking for something new I figured I'd try Valhalla Room since everybody here praises it. I liked it, so I got it, but without really comparing it to the alternatives. I just know it fits the bill, and that I don't want to complicate things by adding other reverb plugins. Less choice = less to think about.

Yup.

I learned this the hard way and have spent way too much time narrowing things down. Finally think I have things where I want them now.

Sonnox, valhalla ones are good too, Sonnox is much better than room though,

I use http://www.liquidsonics.com/software_reverberate.htm for impulses, does no one else here use convolution? If you have some hardware impulses it's worthwhile or for fx.

Pro Tools non linear is also good for a quick fix. Sonnox is just so well thought out though, quick to get exactly what you want without adding compressors and eq.

+1 to less stuff = less choices = more music finished.

I tend to quite like 2cAudio's plug-ins. I have a copy of Aether and B2 (no Breeze, quite happy with the other two).
