LOL when I heard your Autechre tribute in OP, I thought it sounded a bit like my "Saturday Arvo" track on the Jupiter 8

Fed through an "API 1608 and Studer A800"

JP8 is clean, for an analog, clean oscillators, clean filter and clean VCA. It's why it has the ethereal quality about it
Even the Juno 106 I have sitting above it sounds "dirtier"

Whereas the A6 tends to saturate far too easily
Off course the "Moog" signal path is what adds the "brute" factor

You can tell how the J8 lacks this "brute" quality the a6 has. (I know, to others "thankfully" it doesn't have it)
This is definetly a matter of taste, but if you compare the tonal qualities between this sound you just posted and my Autechre thingie, perhaps you can realize how the a6 has this pleasant harshness to it.

I like the J8, but it's just "too gay" in a way if you know what I mean.

But of course, lucky you, you have them both so... you busturd

Btw, I wonder how this sound you posted would sound if you could dynamically modify the lag processing while playing.

Regardless, good job. Everyone is an expert, but few post anything audible

.
Jaja you are right. I will soon post my 7 min track for a commercial I did. Everything is Andy. i have not forgot

hey, have you given ModeSelektor a listen?
I swear I hear the a6 all over the place, but for the love of me I can't find their gear list.

.
What the A6 lacks is that sheen and sweetness of the Roland synths, and the delicate pluck attack of the JP8, so I find they compliment each other.
Although you can add some of that with some post processing with tubes and preamps etc

Never heard of ModeSelektor

this seems like the best place for this...

So i was playing with my andromeda tonight. I love it, but there's always been this weird quality to the oscllators that I would always find myself fighting against. it was this weird "womp" sort of sound in the low end. well, tonight, i figured out something, and maybe it's a placebo effect, but it definitely made a difference to me.

start with a fresh program. turn off the TRI waveform.

play a few fast notes.

now, turn off ENV1 to OSC1 and OSC2 (both LEDS off)

am i the only one who hears the difference?

i found the other mod thats on by default, i think its mod 1 on each osc, has the same effect, but a little more subtle. Im wondering if its the processing of the mod sources thats causing some signal delay, emphasis or something else.

again, maybe it's placebo, but i was pretty happy with it.

If you turn the oscillator pitch speed to the fastest setting in the, engine optimizer screen, you'll find that the slight portamento thing at the start of each note is much better

I used to think this was due to the CV processing speed of the A6, it's why the faster settings were introduced after I complained about it, and provided some audio clips vs the Mks80 showing this.

But it may have been the pitch envelope all along...

Any experiences and what device did you use?

Someone here did if I recall, and it worked well. The scaling is a little different though.
Just use Silentway VST to generate LFO and other CV voltages
At 24 bit sample accurate and true audio rate...

As long as your audio interface is DC coupled. Most of the Motu ones are. I have two 2408 mk3 which work well with Silentway ( I use the headphone outs for this, will hit 9+ volts)
I haven't tested it on the A6 though, but it's a another source of analog audio rate modulation

Even if it's not DC coupled the LFO still might work, it did on the Delta 66 I have - as heard here modulating the filter on my SH2
