- FADERS and mute/solo buttons.
Most of these tight little mixers are missing faders and mute buttons.

if its within your budget, then you could buy and if you expand you have enough inputs, I haven't used the Zed series but I used to own an Allen & Heath GS3 and the parametric EQ on that was sweet sweet sweet, having said that for the monney the 3 bands you get on the M series is very nice.
I say if you can afford it then why not... otherwise I suppose you have the mackie's, personally I prefer the sound of the Soundcraft Desks thoughthumbsup
