Hey all you Yamaha CS-30 owners. I'm looking for advice. I'm purchasing a CS-30 from a tech in Japan. If there are any useful modifications that can be added, it seems like now would be a good time to do them since he still has the synth open. I've seen Don Solaris' excellent modification instructions for the CS-15 (haven't had time to install them in my CS-15 yet), and I'm wondering if there are similar mods that would be useful on the CS-30.
Listed below are the mods that I think might be possible.
1. Would it make sense to add a switch to allow the two filters to be put in series? My tech thinks that it would be a fairly easy mod. But since I've never played the CS-30, I'm not completely sure that it's necessary. Here's a link where a guy speculates on how it could be done:

2. Since the CS-30 has a ring modulator, is it worthwhile to modify the LFO speed control (ala the Solaris CS-15 mod)? That might be a stupid question . . . feel free to set me straight.
3. Sequencer clock driven by external gate signal
