Voyager External Input functions?

I am interested in picking up a Voyager for some analog sound and external fun. One feature that interests me is the external input. Is this only a dry mix section? Or will I be able to mess with the audio source with the Voyagers controls (cutoffs, resonance, etc). What other synths have this feature? Any of them offer it in stereo?

you can use anything after the oscillators (filters, envelopes and lfos)

you can even use the the oscillators as modifiers(lfo). the external input really gives the voyager another level of functionality. now if i could only get moog to implement some sort of random patch feature........

You can do the random patch thing with the voyager soundtower software editor. Plus a really cool morphing feature where you can morph between patches.

Download the owner's manual. It's all in there, including the block diagram.

indeed, i've got the soundtower editor....very nice. it would be more useful to have something inside the voyager, instead of firing up my mac. sort of like the microwave xt.
