Korg M500 Micropreset

Watch this the whole way through. I was quite shocked and surprised as it sounded nothing like what I expected (although drenched in reverb), it sounds very nice for such a limited instrument. (gets better and better as the vid progresses)

Has that loverly 70s vowely growl

Im sure I heard this on the 70s Neutrons album 'Tales from the blue cocoons'.

Sorry I'm no Don Solaris, but I'll give my comments anyway. (If Don Solaris hasn't responded by now, it means he has never experienced the instrument firsthand).

The first couple of OMD albums were all Korg Micropreset M500 and the sounds they came up with intrigued me enough to get into electronic music. The M500 is an expressive instrument for being a preset synth. There's a lot of nice controls to shape the sound...and that Korg MS filter really makes the instrument worthwhile.
