Soft synths with more envelope steps than ADSR?

Hey folks . . .

My humble CZ101 is now dying and unrepairable . . . and I'm really missing the envelope architecture (8 rates and settings per envelope, separate envelope for each osc, waveshaper, and amp).

For some odd reason, even the fancy softsynths I have, like the Arturia Moog Modular, tend to stick with a few ADSRs. Boring.

Are there soft synths, or even hardware synths, in production, with more and bigger envelopes?

Thanks in advance for any relief.

Omnisphere has a "chaos" function for its multi-segment envelopes if you are not in the mood to to draw a detailed one out or need a creative or approximate starting point.

I just got in on the Alchemy group buy and if you can relate with an architecture that provides very little limits to forcing a workflow in one direction or another then you will have no choice but to be pleased.

Zebra not only has multi stage envelopes but also very elaborate adsr style envelopes. See a visual guide for them here: KVR: Zebra 2 - A visual guide to the envelopes. You can also fade between modulation sources and do all kinds of other tricks.

Thanks folks! Lots of good options there . . .

That Zebra envelope graphic looks like exactly what I want . . . one more reason to get it, the free COMPUTER MUSIC version sounds sweet . . .
