small upgrade advice needed

my actual set up is : G5 dual 2.5 , rme hdsp 9652 , creamware A16 ultra converter , Harrison 790 pro mixing desk, quested H-108 monitors , alesis monitor one ,joemeek twinq , tl audio indigo 2021, various analog synths and drum machines .
i mainly compose elecronic music , so no mics ,pres ...

i've recently done some acoustic treatment in my studio(following all the advices i found here) and would like to upgrade also the quality of my recordings .
i have 2000 eur to spend .

I thought that a better converter could improve things , but it's very expensive (approx 2K). Actually i've red that the A16 has good D/A but poor A/D .
Maybe i could buy just an apogee duet and record to a macbook pro the out of the harrison, which i only use as a summing unit , i mix in logic, mainly with waves classic studio collection plugins.
should i buy newer summing unit ? the harrison it's wonderful but rusty ...
new , possiby active , monitors ?
thanks for your help and time !
