Creating Kicks (Layered) on OSX

Hello, what do you guys do to create/modify 909 kicks? I currently use various instances of UB (3 to be exact, head, body, and tale). I read somewhere that you can create layered instrument on esx24 and us it with UB. I just to work with sound forge which was great for this until I moved to osx.

I eq and compress almost all the time. I also play a lot with the envelopes in Battery. I moslty use the same Jomox kick but it always sounds different. Occasionally I even change where the sample starts.

what I do is not anything special - quite the contrary: most would think it is stoooopid.
But if you are in the mood for a goofy video - you can check this out:

MicroTonic Type Of kick With UltraBeat

This is mostly aimed at people who are totally new with Logic - or people who have the same sense of humor as I do (which is vulgar language, and bad jokes)

But it might give you an idea you hadn't thought of up until now.
Hope it helps you out a little.
Take care.
