I COULD actually buy it in a month or two. But it would be crazy.
Or would it.....
The gorgeous assitants would be on it like flies on a ****** *****
consoles = gorgeous assistant magnets

another think I badly lusted for is
Wiard

that's just the thing... I'm at a point in my life that I need a roof over my head that is actually mine. Not some rented shack. So.. an investment like this, with no inmediate expectation it will render income (in today's music biz in the Netherlands ), it's madness for sure..

however

dynamics on every channel, eq, automation, subs auxes, monitor faders
eehmm
fully serviced
AND!

I could live underneath that console. comfortably. heh

What a beautiful machine that is!!!!!

With the pound so low, you could snap that up, sit on it for 10 years, and you would probably make your money and then some back.

If you can afford it, and your in a comfortable spot now in regards to your housing situation, and living expenses, I say do it. Think of it like stocks for gearslutz!!!

And a custom desk that somehow has space for everything you'll ever want within arms reach. Oh and it's made of Mahogany... and it's on air casters so it's easy to move. And of course, it sits in front of a window with an epic view of ocean and mountains and maybe a volcano.... I like volcanoes.
Pm me if you have this exact thing for sale... or since I'll never have the ability to pay for it, you can hit me up in the free stuff thread instead. It'll be real good for your Karma.

An EMS VCS-3, Cwejman S1 Mk2, Synton Fenix, SAM SND-16, a 12-unit Buchla "System #2" rig, a Great River MP2NV. Just the tip of the iceberg. What I really want is talent, and that can't be bought, try as I may.

I like Buchla and Associates' suggestion:

1 Model 201e - 12 Powered Cabinet
1 Model 210e Control and Signal Router
1 Model 225e Midi Decoder/Preset Manager
1 Model 227e System Interface (2 panel units)
1 Model 250e Arbitrary Function Generator (2 panel units)
2 Model 261e Complex Waveform Generator
1 Model 266e Source of Uncertainty
1 Model 281e Quad Function Generator
1 Model 291e Triple Morphing Filter
1 Model 292e Quad Dynamics Manager

Total Panel units - 12
System Price - $14,000

I don't really need that Thunder-style controller, though it is cool.

Who's making that Euro converter, Harvestman? I know he expressed interest in making one a few years ago.

Wouldn't mind one of those Purple Audio modular consoles..

They can throw in the Barefoots too, but leave the NS10s at home thanks.

I'm selling a part of my kit right now. Very strange situation since I have certainty I'll have some money soon again. (march)
I guess that happens to (almost) all of us, sometimes.. dfegad

Sounds like you still miss it. heh
A lot of the functions I can do in my Doepfer. By patching a lot of modules together. It does require some planning sometimes.
Ppl. tell me the sound of the 300 system is very special, and the way the modules are set up makes for a very creative system.
Is that true? When looking at it, it seems special but not THAT special. (rational thought getting in the way of true sluttism again tutt)
Otherwise I'd stick to Doepfer, and maybe a couple of Moog/MOTM modules.
