Would be effin' awesome if true.

I still use Absynth 5 constantly on my 2019 Intel Mac Pro running Sonoma. It won't work on my M1 MacBook Pro. Nothing else sounds like it.

If NI are really bringing back Absynth, I wonder if Brian Clevenger (the guy who created Absynth) is involved. Hope so.

There's an ongoing discussion of Absynth 6 over on KVR forum. Evil Dragon has posted statements there that imply Absynth 6 is really going to happen. If you do a Google search for "is Native Instruments bringing Absynth back?", the A.I. generated answer is no. So we'll see, I guess.

If this is true, insta-buy for me.

I did hear a hint about this a few weeks back, but with no detail or even real confirmation that it was an Absynth back then.

The AI doesnt know anything special. The magazine advert is clearly real.

A couple shops accidentally posted and yanked their listings for it yesterday. Fast enough that I didn't see them, but not fast enough to avoid getting crawled by search engines.



I also got independent confirmation that it's real, but I have nothing to share other than "Trust me bro" on that, so I figured the search engine posting was better.

I LOVE Absynth!!!! I was so pissed when they stopped supporting this. SO happy if they ate bringing this back!

Us long time owners should get it for free for putting up with NI's crap regarding it over the years heh.

The two things that are keeping me from upgrading Komplete are their lack of support for legacy instruments and lack of polyphonic aftertouch support on their current catalog. Throw it in Massive X and I’m in.

The question is: Will Brian Clevinger be involved? I seem to remember NI telling him they didn't want to make a new version due to the complexity of bringing it up to NI's modern underlying architecture. Thus, he moved on to his other synth projects at Rhizomatic Software.

A while back ,they kinda said something was coming, wonder if it will get ported to the +plus
