Sourcing this snare/drum machine

All three songs from the same band.

Looking to get some recommendations on which drum machines had this type of snare sound. It’s a very distinctive high pitched “PUH” 80s type sound.
I realize the snares aren’t identical in each track, but they are very similar in character and should get the general idea across of what I’m looking for.

The songs were released in ‘93.

Brad Kemp is credited as playing drums on the album, not sure if he's on all songs or not.

He’s playing an electronic drum kit and triggering samples from it. That’s confirmed from a video on YT. The 3rd album was way more acoustic drumming.
This album was 99% sample and drum machines.

It's a piccolo snare with a bit of gated verb. Pretty basic stuff. Most of the 90's drum machines and modules would have a similar sounding snare available.

At least the first song sounds like it uses sampled drums and snare from whatever source.

I’m honestly really surprised by the comments saying it’s acoustic drums. Here and other forums. It sounds exactly like a drum machines.

Also, I messaged the singer the other day inquiring about this, and he can’t remember specifics like which drum machine was used but he said the entire album was samples/drum machine.

What I meant to say is that is doesn’t sound like a synthesized drum like in a typical drum machine. Of course it can be sampled, and many drum machines play samples, but it sounds like a real drum (sampled or recorded) that is being post-processed.

The first one definitely had a sampled break layered in.

example #2 to me sounded pretty much like a snare on EMF's track "unbelieveable".

The first one can be accomplished by layering a rimshot with a snare. Probably all of them can.
