Testing a good ergonomic setup. Room for one more synth next to the M.
Or an Ableton push 2 perhaps..

It's a stand from Jasper's - https://www.jaspers-alu.de/index.php?sprache=2

Looks like their two tier stand if I'm not mistaken.

Indeed it’s the 2 tier Jaspers. I switched the 2nd tier to the leg furtest away. This way it feels a little more spacious.
The 2 tier is less popular i guess. Most of the time you see 3 or 4 tier setups stacked with gear.

Both the One and M have nice big and spacious Ui’s
Works well on a 2 tier. Might put a small modular system or push 2 on the right top.

Loving the sound of the M. Sounds very deep and lush.
Just did a testrun on HP. Without fx it already sounds so classy.

The UI, patch managment and modmatrix etc is something thats not instantly familiar. Time to invest and learn.
Sitting by the fireplace with the manual in front of me!

Then, if we all will be happy with the DSP state (bugs fixed, new features accepted, etc..) - the next release will be UI/UX polish.

I am sorry for this slow updates, but it seems like DSP should be frozen first. I understanding that sometimes M is bad in the UI domain, but again - for me personally sound is more important than UI. Having (almost) frozen DSP code simplify the UI development then (also, because the sound parameters set will be yet fixed).

Hope you understand me.
Best regards
Vladimir.
That sounds eminently reasonable.

I also think no fair observer should classify your update speed as "slow".

Apologies, I have not followed this thread closely from the start. Has there been any mention of a possible keyboard version of the M at all?

That M looks awfully lonesome. Might need a little buddy like a Pro 3 maybe?

How to save a sound patch in multi mode?

Can someone please help me with this question?
I can not figure out how to store a sound patch to a sound bank while in multi-mode.
Is this possible? Or can sound patches only be saved in single-mode?

(I have understood the concept of multi arrangement as described in the manual:
"The part related sound patches are NOT stored together with the Multi Arrangement. The sound of one particular part in the Arrangement is effectively a link to the certain chosen sound from a certain chosen sound bank.")

The ultimate keybed would have either PolyAT or MPE.

It is not possible to save the single patches in multi mode.
You can only save the settings of the multi.

Basically, if you want to modify the patches of a multi: after you made all the edits, you have to take note of the modded parameters, go back to each single patch, apply the edits, then save all the modded patches.

I hope this isn't a general restriction and will be possible with a future FW release.

My GEM S3 has a Fatar keybed, best synth-weighted keybed I have ever played.

just received my M today. ordered from Sweetwater on Wednesday, got it on Friday. for those who are interested, Waldorf double boxed the M, then Sweetwater put it in their own box with bubble wrap. so three boxes altogether for extra protection. 👍🏻

Hi palanque,

yes, the update of patches, linked to the multi arrangement now is not possible. It's planned to implement in one of the next system FWs.

I apologize for this, a kind of consequence of "pure Microwave thinking"

Best regards
Vladimir

It’s Groking great. Building patches.
Having the Moog one’s Arp with swing is cool 2.
My advice is to switch the preset select mode to automatic.
Surely there is the risk of losing editted presets.
But it makes the whole exploration much more enjoyabl. Preset switches are fast 2 then. Run some midi and discover!
If there could be an fast and easy patch save flow this would be great for the overall UX.

Is there an easy way to switch filter modes?
As far as I can hear the Mode button only switches the OSC algo’s from MW1 to MW2. Otherwise I dont hear the filter difference.. One more picture from this morning.

The digital filters came in as an afterthought and hence the GUI has no controls for them. The Mode button just does that, to switch from Classic Mode (MW style) to Modern Mode (MW II/XT style).

I use a 6 tier stand and still have plenty of synths on other solutions.

Nice combination. It was used by me to beta test the M. One should not use less than a Moog One 16 voice to drive the M

There are synths where I do beta testing and there are synths I am just using. Moog One is one of the latter. Never run into any issue so far. Just enjoying the sound and the overall vibe of the machine.

As just said, this comes from the fact, that this was my testing combo.

So finally the BoGeTi team is complete now here in this thread.

Cheers to Till and Boele from Georg.

Heya Georg! (And Till ;-))
I smell a BoGeTi-3 reunion in the foreseeable future! This is all Robert's fault by the way... *He* bought the M on reverb.com just before Christmas and lended it to me. The rest is history.
I *love* the M. Really. So I ordered one, but will have to wait until March I was told...
