That’s my understanding. I read somewhere that the resulting “art” was hung up on the wall, maybe at the studio where the “synth murder” occurred.

Famously destroyed for analog osc drift. Now people pay top dollar for that go figure.

I have the Nektar Panorama P6 & Roland Fantom X7 against my wall,

The Nektar keyboard has never seen the sun once and the keys are going yellow, add the constant crashes when controlling Cubase it got tossed aside for an Arturia KeylabMK2 to take it's place front and centre.

The Fantom X7 wasn't getting used and taking valuable space that a eurorack rig could use instead.

do you have florescent lights? that'll cause it too, depending on the plastic.

That would have been it then, I had the coil looking globes for about 6 years there, now I have LED ones.

It's the only keyboard I own that has done that though.

I use everything I have and I'd gladly take anything anyone has leaning against a wall, clean the dust off it, rub it, scrub it, perhaps perform minor surgery on it and give it a facelift, maybe smack it a few times for good measure so it knows who's boss, and make it feel lusted for once again by pounding it daily

Anyone have any storage ideas for these up against the wall synths? I would like to keep them vertical to save space, was thinking multi guitar stand or something less bulky.

That really might work great, depending on their size. A lot of synths might be too “tall” to fit between the dividers though.

That's really sad. So many synths and we only have two hands. 😫

I feel better now 😂

I’ve only got a CZ101 against the wall (well, hidden behind a gaming chair!)
There’s a motu828mk3 lying about too but that’s it.

My next thing will be to rejig my studio to get easier access to the racks, synths etc. I’ve lived with this for a while and can now see what works and doesn’t.

The CZ might go as I’ve got the plug-in boutique version, but it’s so small it doesn’t take up any room.choices eh?
