Yes, I like tons of output control too. Especially the idea of independent volumes on the dry/wets which I have suggested before a few times.
In an age of instant recall - I like to have certain sounds integral with their delays inline when i recall them, EVEN if I change them in the new track or move the delay to a bus for "global" aux access to it.
And if I have a perfect level for something, I don't like a blend control to be needlessly attenuating the dry ratio and changing my perception.
Also, automating a delay on the track itself is just a bit more instant than bussing it, and it's more evident/intuitive when you come back to a track and see it in the track auto lanes. Progress.
This idea plus a delay mode with a State Variable res filter filter on instead of the eq would be perfect inclusions IMO.
Otherwise, VHD is my prime delay now, except for extreme dub.
