Gary Numan Cars "Crash" effect

Ok, here's my question.... or dilemma.... or problem I'm not sure how solve and need help! (you get the idea by now).

Now that I've switched to electronic drums (Roland TD-25), the keyboard player in my band wants me to play the recurring "crash" so we can play Cars by Gary Numan. His hands are too busy trying to play all the other amazing stuff. (he's a new synth player)

I believe it was originally a keyboard produced sound. (?) Does anyone know where I can download that sound online? I can upload it into my electronic drums after that. I just need the crash sound. Thanks in advance!

I'm new to the site and hope I am in the right place to ask this question. Thanks again!!

I think the sound you're referring to is from a Synare. Might be the Synare 3. I think there are some samples online.

It's just a burst of filtered noise.. shouldn't take too long to recreate with a typical subtractive synth.
