I love Rachel Flowers' performances, talent and fortitude. So many of them don't use synths, though. The one below uses Keith Emerson's Moog Modular and organ.

I'm going to be the first to say that I was inspired by Tony Banks and especially his solos on the ARP ProSoloist.

I still hanker after a pro-soloist to this day!

There are so many examples on YouTube of Tony's playing, so I thought it would be fun to share a video of someone else who was inspired by him (and the rest of the band!) - Amazing video and a labour of love...

Here for the gear

Rachel Flowers covering "Flying in a Blue Dream"

Watch the drums in the lower right of "Zombie Woof"

"Piano Phase" First section is a 12 note pattern played with different tempos for each hand. Second section is 8 notes and the third section is 4 notes.

Some of my very first exposure to synth goodness came from my father's old ELP 8-tracks in the late 70's. ELP was like no other- may they all rest in peace.

Some of my favorite keyboardist are Geoff Downes and Rick Wakeman.

My favorite of all is Kebu. His Perplexagon 4, 5, & 6 is his best work yet.

Great Vids! Love Perplexagon. Glad you got a Geoff Downes up there; his music helped define some of my band's early work.
