Wow - yes - that's expensive!
You can get an original in good working order for less than £1k.
The re-issue appears to be around £1800.

exactly - even 800DV are about 1.5k here in UK, so I wouldn't spend twice that on a reissue.

have always wanted to give a 800DV a go

Nah, I would rather see Behringer remake the PPG 1002. Probably one of the rarest PPG synths there is apart from their system 100 and 300 modulars.

I've never used the 1002 or seen one in real life, but from YouTube videos it seems to sound 'moogy' - is that fair? Sounds great.. but I'd like to see 'proper' ADSR envelopes in there.



Could be a good one to bring back to life as a module (?), for historical purposes as much as anything, but not at the expense of the Roland SH series, shirley?
