Mackie power supply fuse problem

I have Mackie 8 bus board, which uses the 220-watt power supply unit.

Bought it in North America, moved it to Europe. Been using it for the past couple of years, plugged into a 2000-watt voltage converter (so that I can plug into the 220V socket here.)

Just yesterday something popped and scared the crap outta me. I took out the fuse in the power supply and it was blown. I replaced it with a new one, and it blew again when I turned it on.

Anyone have any clue what the problem is?
