The 909 clap is analog you madman - bit early to be on the Murphy's

Have you never read about the weird phasing you get from the 909 snare and clap together, as they share a noise source??

if only it was because of Murphy's Did not know about the phasing thing. Anyway, ya, SPD-11. That thing sounds huge (give me that at least )

909 clap is most definitely not a sample.

Huh? I don’t think the mkII has any x0x sounds that aren’t on the cards. (??) I don’t think it even has all the sounds from each card.

Let me see if I can dig up the source on that one.

been a while since i've looked at the mkII, but the manuals list the sounds at the back. card sound lists should be out there as well.

I'm pretty sure 808 and 909 clap have mostly the same circuit but 909 has reverb.

i'm sure there's already a thread here about circuits in vintage roland drum machines. can't think of anything more boring really.. at this point. does anyone really care about sounding like those machines exactly? have we not moved on already?

my studio is just like this for the most part.

How do you type and see the screen at the same time? Do you like sit on the floor looking up with your hands on the desk? What about the other one? Do you just use mirrors to see what you're doing there?

Those two racks of outboard look very expensive!!

the racks are loaded with more cheaper stuff -> 2x KT-EQP, xpressor, mammothcave passiveagressive.. i habe to say, everything looks nice in these racks (gouldcase)
the most expensive item is the tubeamp on top
the real goodies are at hand in the tabletopracks

I think what I love most is that it looks like a cold war Radar Station - Ice Station Zebra .... a secret location in the Bering Strait

Also, where are all the cables, audio and midi? Did you hide them be!ow the floor? That said, great collection of gear, I have a P12 and P08+Tetra (keys version), so, I can understand why you get them. Also, is the Integra i7 is really good for all bread and butter samples? I have an XV5080 with 4 SRX and 4 SR-JV cards but it's in the basement for practice and recording so, I was thinking to buy an Integra to set it up in the studio in the Den upstairs, let me know.
