Alternative Basstrap

Hey guys!
I was at the local studio, he had builded the basstraps inside "a box", what kind of wood can you trap the rockwool inside?
Plywood?
Will clapboard do? What if I fill a corner with example rockwool, cover the frontside with clapboard and cover the clapboard with cloth?

Covering the Rockwool with Clapboard will greatly reduce the efficiency of the traps. What you want is the Rockwool abosorbing the Waves, the clapboard will prevent that from happening.

Ok, but I have only had bad experience with rock wool etc. due to smell, headache etc. Even as I have covered them with plastic (very thin) and cloth.
I really want to cover them down.

Does Cotton do the same work as example rockwool?
