Silicone Removal . . . . . .

No plastic surgeon required I'm sure . . . . . but seriously I would like to ask for some advice in removing silicone adhesive from painted wall's? I need to take down lots of RPG foam panels and would like to remove them in full.

It looks like I will have to repaint but before I do . . . . I was wondering if anyone else had any advice?

Most of the silicone rubs off by hand and has not taken away any plasterboard or paint, has anyone tried any of the silicone remover products?
