Macbook pro i7 quad core 2.2gHz 16 gb ram. Mountain lion.

Current version I have:
Pro Tools 10.3.2

I have been having problems with pro tools and keep getting the CPU overload error whenever I bounce or record something. My playback buffer size is always at the highest when I'm mixing and the lowest when I'm recording. Also, my processor is at 7 cores and 85% cpu. I do not understand why my pro tools keep crashing. I am also working off of my firewire 800 hard drive.

I have not really had problems before I had lion with pro tools 10.0.0 but this version i have right now, will constantly crash whenever I record or bounce or even play back sometimes.

Can someone help me figure out the problem. Thanks.
