Quicktime Server Crashed

I have noticed this for several versions of Pro Tools now for me, and was wondering if others had a similar experience. As shown in the screenshot below, the quicktime Server for protools reports in the activity monitor as not responding, in red.

In a similar head scratcher, my CPU overall meter will read 60%, but only one processor is being used, and it will be under 40. Even with all of these processors, I still get overload errors under 256K buffers.

So, anyone else get similar results?

The Quicktime server redline crash thing has been the way for years and years now. I've never seen it adequately explained before, but you can rest assured that it's "normal." (Or at least typical)
