yep... much rather an easily maintained patch panel be copping the rigors of life rather than the preamp units - much easier access too - less chance of a mispatch.

the multipin with XLR availability is the way to go... keeping things efficient (and consistant) , but with the ability to interface with other systems/production houses etc.
